North Park Boathouse

Worst Possible Service Imaginable.

North park is beautiful, but you’ll probably enjoy it more if you pack for a picnic.

The hostesses are incompetent and liars. When we checked in, the wait time was an hour and a half.

We enjoyed the park during that time, but we were still waiting after the time was up. We went to check on how much longer the wait was: 10-20 minutes.

Half an hour later, no line, and place half empty so I decided to check in again; the bitches had the nerve to say a text was sent 30 mins ago. That was of course after they stood there swiping through the tablet because they “lost” our check in. Anyway, it would have been when we checked in for the second time!

I can get LTE there so I called her out on sending a text. I wasn’t mean or explicit, I asked her to repeat the number she had. Instead, she started to stutter, “inside or out,” repeatedly. Our number wasn't incorrect.

For the meal portion, the service was also poor. Our appetizer came the same time as our dinner. They sent out a plain burger when it was supposed to come with “special sauce.” They forgot the ranch dip that came with the wrap. It was difficult to politely flag down the waiter since he was busy with his closing.

The meals come with chips. We all upgraded, but the fries were over-seasoned and soggy. My friend upgraded her meal for onion rings and got six, tiny end pieces of onion not “rings.” Also soggy.

Can't vouch for the drinks. We decided on a dry night because we were all pissed to the point we knew it would definitely cause a scene if we drank.

Since it was nearing closing time, not even twenty minutes from the time we were given our food, we were handed the check. No manager to be seen so nothing would change unless we wanted to make a scene. We still tipped too.

The only redeeming quality is the sandwiches themselves are excellent; we all loved what we ordered. We all got something different so I’d say the menu is good.
