Prior to joining our urology practice, Brad worked as a PA in orthopedics at TOSH. He also worked as a technologist in Endoscopy for nearly 6 years prior to going to PA school. Brad excels in both in office patient care and robotic surgical surgical assisting.

Treatment will include consultations and sometimes requiring a physical exam. We may order radiology imaging, blood work, and other testing to diagnose a condition. Some conditions require medications, procedures, surgery or follow up care as part of the treatment plan.

Dr. Cahoon served with the Urology Staff/Faculty of the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. In 2002, Dr. Cahoon moved to Utah to continue his practice of Urology. He was Chief of Surgical Services at American Fork Hospital, where he is presently President Elect of the Medical Staff. Dr. Cahoon is a member of the American Urological Association, Western Section of the A.A., American College of Surgeons-Fellow and Board Certified with the American Board of Urology.

A vasectomy reversal is a complex microscopic surgery where the surgeon recconects the vas deferens together (vasovasostomy, most common), or attaches the vas deferens to the epididymis ( Vasoepididymostomy, more complex) to restore fertility. The type of surgery performed is determined during the procedure.
Robotic Surgery
Because of his love for helping and treating cancer patients, he pursued additional training and completed a fellowship in robotic surgery for urological oncology and reconstruction using the da Vinci® Robotic platform at Ohiohealth Methodist Hospital, a member of the MD Anderson Cancer Network®, in Dublin, Ohio from 2015-2016.
