Gives NYC and Chicago a run for their money. The white pizza with spinach is my personal fave but the calzones and salads are also excellent choices. The Outdoor dining is cute and pet friendly. More Home Slice by the slice is next door if you need some pizza on the go. Park at the church and be ready to wait in line. Don't forget a rice crispie treat for dessert!

The pizza is awesome! We're a family of 6 and everyone loved it. The only thing that wasn't great is probably the wait, but other than that it was yummy!

Like many pizza places, the atmosphere, serivce and character will bring me back to Home Slice everytime. I'm sure there are some who will say this is the best NY style pizza outside of NY but I'm too picky to go that far. The pizza is good but not out of this world and same for the salads. Overall, it's a decent NY-style stand-in so far west. What really draws the crowds is the cool vibe and cozy atmosphere. I'm not local so I only eat here when I'm passing through on business or pleasure but it's always packed so I usually find a spot for two at the bar which is the best place to sit to see all the action anyway.

What more can you say, it's great pizza.

If Homeslice doesn't serve the best pizza in Austin, it certainly is in the top 5. With an awesome location on S. Congress Avenue, Homeslice is as well known for it's lines as for its delicious pizza. However, they will soon be opening up a location next door with lovely pizza by the slice at all hours and I also recommend their amazing calzones, sandwiches, and rice krispie treats for dessert. Yum!

This pizza is so good that my 6 year old nephew picked here to eat for his birthday rather than Chuck E Cheese. Now, that must be good pizza!

Wow, these guys got it right. They apprenticed with real New York pizza masters, they love what they do, and it all shows. Not only that, but it's in a great spot and just has the best vibe. I want to eat their pizza for every meal every single day. It's perfect for kids, too.
