BioLife Plasma Services, LP

I’ve been donating at this biolife for two years now. It has been nothing but frustration, with the occasional bright spot. They pay doners more than other places, but it’s almost not worth it anymore. Over the years they have gotten more busy, and less friendly. There are a couple amazing employees there, Heather, being one. But the moral of the place has started to lack. Also, it has become one of the most busy centers in the country, and they have not done a lot to help wait times. There is always a super long line and a lot of the time you’ll end up spending hours there. Also they don’t really care about their loyal doners. I’ve been going for two years, and it’s just gone downhill. Also, getting a physical (which is required yearly) is very difficult. It’s at least a week out for a physical, and if you don’t schedule it that far in advance, you’re going to be missing a week of donating, which, because of their new platinum program, makes you miss out on a good chunk of money. Overall, I’d find another center to donate if I were you.

I was told I was permanently disqualified to donate because of a heart surgery I had. But when I scheduled the appointment I was unaware of the restrictions. I drove all the way to Boise thinking I could donate. Waste of time and gas.
