I'm sure you can buy a car here with no problem, because the car is new, crafted by the masters of Nissan themselves in Japan, but outside of the scope of a new car there are several fast food establishments run better than the complete joke this place is for repair work. They are incapable of calling you back "EVER". They are incapable of moving your repairs along "EVER". The techs need to be shown how to do things by the customer. The techs don't understand how to use the diagnostic equipment beyond computerized instructions. If they hit an unknown computer message, they say they can't do it instead of trying to figure it out. I asked for a reprogramming of a engine control module and they could not do it without forcing me to buy a new $2000 blank computer, because they knew how to program that because its easily done by the computer itself.
Everything they seem to "know" how to do leads to insane expense for repairs and they damage people's vehicles (from friends experience and reading reviews) when servicing. My car sat there for a week, they never called once with any status, I had to call them multiple times a day, employees seem to come and go (quit or be fired) in that time frame and the one person that was helpful at the service desk had either quit or was fired during the week my car was there leaving me to deal with a different buffoon who reassures you constantly with EMPTY words of support.
This seems to be a very immature environment on the "repair side". The place looks nice in the show room and offices, but don't be fooled by the looks. I wouldn't trust these people to put wheels on a child's big wheel trike, let alone a simple engine oil change. They don't seem to "care" about quality of their repair work and they certainly only lookout for fairness when it comes to keeping the dealership's pockets lined green. They will not go out of their way to make things right if they've wronged you, they'll just leave it "wrong" so they can keep green pockets. Save yourself a ton of time, money and misery and find another place to have your car fixed.

Sorry used cars

You will really be taking a chance if you buy a used car from them. They do not check them at all first time I have ever seen this not even change oil. I bought a 2005 Jeep for 8000.00 from Chelesa Taylor two days later the whole air condition system went out on it cost me 1200.00 and they said that's the chance you take. That's right never again will I buy one from a dealer learned my lesson and these people are the rudest most snobby people I have ever seen well they lost the brand new car deals from my kids just for that stunt

Bought an Altima from Orr Nissan Bossier. I had a great experience. I feel that I was given an honest deal and my salesperson was real knowledgable. The staff was very helpful. I was in and out- had the internet price, said I'd pay this and wanted that for my trade - and what do you know, I got a hassle free experience. It helps when you have great credit!

Overall

Bought our last car from Orr Nissan, Bossier City and was looking to purchase a another vehicle. Brought in a used vehicle for a possible trade. After inspecting my vehicle and checking on-line for its history, the manager told me my vehicle had been involved in a "major accident" and they could offer between $5 - $6,000. Informed him that I recenty had a minor fender bender (quarter panel), but nothing "major".

Vehilce was worth $11,500, per NADA & KBB. Of course, I passed their attempt to rip me off.

Took same vehicle to another Nissan dealer in Longview (Patterson) and they offered me the book value of $11,500. They did the same background check as Orr, but their research only shows a "minor accident, with no frame damage". What a difference when you deal with an honest dealership.

Advise all to steer clear of Orr and deal with honest people.

Nissan is a hard product to beat. After debating between a civic and a sentry, my gut told me to go with the Sentra SR. Fast and great gas mileage. My saleslady was real sweet and nice just as the other employees were. I was real impressed with the service and treatment. F&I was great. Overall great experience.

you would expect better

went to the dealership with wife and kids. salesmen jumped out from every car it seamed like. felt like i was talking to a toddler saying over and over again that i did not need any help we where just looking. after an hour we found a car we liked, found a salesman to help us. he tried several times to show us another car but we liked this one. finally he went to his manager to see what the car was going to cost us and came back with a pretty high figure, but was quick to point out that the other car he showed us was a demo and he could get it for us at a lower cost. now i was not born yesterday AND have owned many dealer bought cars before ..... this was just this guy getting some kinda of kicker for selling that car. saddly for them it did not work and we went else where to buy the exact same car for the monthly dollar amount wanted it at. when you think of the cost on new cars you would figure on the customer getting a little better treatment than that......to bad for orr maybe they need to train there sales men better in customer needs
