The variety we see in our small clinic setting is great and keeps me busy and always thinking and growing. Treating back pain is my favorite, I love figuring out the different pieces of the puzzle to get to the root of whats going on. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science and played club sports at the University of Pittsburgh (2004). I went straight to PT school from there, earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the #1 program in the country, the University of Delaware (2006). I was born in Glen Burnie and Ive lived in northern Anne Arundel County my entire life, except while away for school. I love the area since its close to the water, the city, but also has room to stretch your legs, In the last 3 years, my husband TJ and I have made the conscious effort to change some habits, mostly diet, to improve our own health. After watching the Documentary Fed Up we took the Fed Up Challenge: no sugar for 10 days. It was tough, but it was the spark we needed! Fast forward to today, our kids are eating more greens, fresh fruits, and other whole foods than we ever dreamed they would. Most of the time were vegetarian, sometimes vegan, but it usually goes out the window for special occasions and road trips! My days off are spent with TJ and our 2 children. I love cooking, music, sports and Halloween! Im lucky and thankful for our family time. Our calendar as business owners and parents of kids in 2 different levels of school looks daunting, but our support network of my and TJs parents is truly what makes it all possible. Around the time we had our first daughter, we started scheduling routine family dinners. Each of our parents host a weekly dinner which is a huge help, especially now! Its become a staple on our schedule, and we love time to catch up when its otherwise just hi and bye. It takes a village and were lucky to have ours, as well as our work fam here at Atlas.
