Extraction Nightmare!!! Dr. Burns must make her money on bone graphing procedures. I had an extraction done one month ago on a molar and opted not to get the bone graph because I'm not planning to implant a replacement. I developed dry socket even though I followed all recovery rules. She gave me a new antibiotic and new pain medication. It took almost 3 weeks before I could normally. After week 4, I started getting stabbing pains in my tongue and frequent bleeding. I returned to Dr. Burns and she said I have a bone splinter and I should've gotten bone graph. However, that would not prevent the bone splinter. Her only solution was for me to keep my tongue away from my teeth with gauze for 105 days. I called another dentist and they said I should've been referred to a specialist. I believe Dr. Burns has no business doing anything more than simple cleanings. She is a terrible dentist. I will NEVER go back to her office, except to retrieve my Xrays to take them somewhere else.

This was a terrible experience. I had to deal with a terrible "office manager" who was clueless. I had to wait almost an hour and was stuck watching msnbc and al sharpton. the dentist had poor communication skills. Its a shame because the office is so nice.

Terrible customer service. I made the appt for my wife for cleaning and hurting teeth. They only had cleaning. Then when asked why we had to pay before any service was done the receptionist had an attitude. Then the "office mgr" tried to explain that was their policy. We left and had nothing done. They never heard of the term compassion. We will go elsewhere.

Terrible experience

I hardly know where to begin in describing how bad my experience with this dentist was. After I paid the bill for a crown in full up front, they increased the price of part of the procedure by several hundred dollars and billed my insurance company, who then emptied my dental fund to pay the dentist for the procedure. It took me almost six months to get my money back. The dentist and the office manager both did their best to be as unhelpful as they could while I was trying to figure out what had happened. To top it all off, while installing the crown, the dentist chipped a piece off of an adjacent tooth. She not only refused to repair the tooth that she damaged for free, but she also told me that she couldn't fit me into her schedule for at least another week. I was in such excruciating pain that I had to go to another dentist to get the tooth repaired. Whatever you do, do NOT go to this dentist.

i.e., AOMG! I had the worst experience here. My daughter is petrified of the dentist and this would of have been the 2nd visit for her in her life. She is almost 9 and getting her to see the dentist the first time was very difficult. Anyways, we arrive early to the appointment and waited almost 15 minutes before I was called because the office manager or receptionist there was arguing with another patient about something she paid for and was not given to her. So he tells me my total will be $71 for the visit. I thought it was a bit much since it was only a routine visit. I told the man receptionist that I needed to call my husband and see if it was correct since my daughter is on his insurance. My husband said go ahead and pay and then call the insurance so I was still standing at the desk but the receptionist was checking out another customer so I proceeded to call the insurance company and I asked them about the prices and insurance rep said she needed codes so I came back in and the dentist receptionist was arguing with another patient and had to wait to asked him if he could give me the codes of the charges and he told no he will not that I needed to leave the office if I was on the phone (mind you I was on the phone earlier with my husband in front him but he didn't say anything) so I sent my daughter out to the lobby with the phone and then he gave me the codes. I came back and I told the receptionist that some of the things I was being charged for are not covered by the insurance and that I would like to know first so I can decide to go ahead or not and also I would like a copy of the first visit charge since I never got a receipt. He took a good 5 mins to give me the last receipt and he said at this point you will have to reschedule because other appointment are being taken care of. I told him we had come in on time but most of the time he has spent arguing with other patients and he never really took care of us. I asked to see the dentist but he said no, to leave a msg or call back. I saw the dentist walk by and so I went in and that's when he physically assaulted me. He pushed me against the wall told me to leave then he got in my face and I told him to step away and he didn't so I pushed him back. The dentist came out saw what was going on and that's when he put his hand in my face twice and pushed me back. By this time my daughter was in tears and he said to my daughter go ahead and brake the law like your mother. The dentist didn't say anything to him she just told me to leave. She looked like she was afraid of her own receptionist. She kept telling him to go with her and he wouldn't budge. I think they are related or maybe married. Horrible, horrible experience, my daughter will probably not see a dentist again. I will be contacting the board of dentistry and the insurance company about this. local favorite, or highly recommended because

Bad customer service, you called and put on hold for the longest time, you leave messages to be told someone will call you back, 3 weeks later no return calls, They need to hire good people who really needs a job and is very caring. This office is the worst. I would not recommend this office to my worse enemy.

Went to this dental office for an emergency extraction and was 150% satisfied. I have always been petrified of needles and dentists and I never felt a thing when they pulled my tooth. Not only was I satisfied with the service they did not charge me a lot for the service they performed. I have a new dentist in Dr Cynthia Burns. Not only did she pull the tooth without causing me any pain she made me feel comfortable with everything she needed to do. I will use her from now on. This will be the only dentist I will use.
