Wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. The ignoramus who works the scale and has been there for 20+ years will screw you out of every penny he can. I had to take my 2 young daughters with me and as i was very distracted keeping them out of the way this jerk weighed me out and without a word, took my scrap and put in a pile of more scrap, then *motions* for me to come over and says "sign"...paid me 1.40/lb for what was bare copper wire, on receipt says i brought in field coil. Avoid at all costs, or it will cost you.

after calling to clairify exactly what types of scrap copper they were buying, i loaded it up & drove all the way to the place after being assured on the phone they were buying exactly what i had only to be told, after unloading it all and without explanation they weren't interested. then they told me they'd 'do me a favor' & dispose of it since no other recycling place would be interested either. knowing better, i loaded it back up & the next place i went bought it all at a better price then h&h first quoted over the phone! ('north end recycling in wyandotte, if ur interested). dont waste ur time with 'h & h'.
