We were from out of town and bought a car in the KC over Thanksgiving weekend. We contacted the regional manager Chris on Friday and scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. He explained their "Finish Line" detail entailed a full outer and inside detailing, to include the fine details. I asked about the headliner, seatbelts, and upholstery. He said that their department would pay special attention to those details. I was told their service cost $159.00 and they would spend 7-8 hours cleaning the vehicle.

After 3 hours, I received a call asking me to pick up the vehicle because they were closing at 1:30. I was in the middle of a birthday party for my nephew, in which I had to leave early because I planned for 7 hours to elapse.

A few hours after the detailing job was complete. We noticed the stains in our upholstery had re-appeared. This caused us to look even closer at their work. It was then evident that the "detail" requested was a joke. We found crumbs and debris within finger tips reach in the cracks of the back seat. The front seat rails were untouched. Air Conditioning vents were still dusty, as well as the front speaker ports. The carpet in the rear seat area between the doors and seats still had compounded dirt that wasn't removed. The door handles were not cleaned on the inner sides, where you actually grab and touch them. Basically, very little was done beyond a quick vacuum, wipe down, and carpet shampoo, which could've been done at the local car wash.

We immediately had a sales correspondent at the building contact the on-site manager. We spoke briefly over the phone and he said he would be right in to fix items from a list I had made.

Upon our third return to the shop, we looked over the car again. One Cheerio, one Smartie, and some few other wipe downs, the car was at an acceptable level. It was later that evening and we finally drove off their lot. We were told the stains in the seats wouldn't come out without another 3-4 shampoos. They mentioned this was standard, but yet failed to tell us this when they initially inspected the car. We asked why and they said it was because of the manufacturers material type and we could bring it back in for the remaining shampoos without charge. Again, this is a little hard being we live 6 hours away. They knew this before they even started. If they had mentioned it, we wouldn't have paid for it and we would've had it done when we returned home.

The on-site manager said he was only authorized to discount the cost by 10%. We received a wopping $16 for our trouble and a car detail that I only felt was worth $70 tops. I left a message for the regional manager and still have yet to receive a phone call.

All in all, we believe the work was mediocre at best. We spent $160 expecting a car that has normal wear and tear to be cleaned with no evidence of previous owners being left behind. There is no doubt in my mind that I could've done a better job in the same amount of time. We are very unsatisfied with the services, or lack there of, performed. I don't recommend choosing this facility because they lack attention to detail. And if I'm not mistaken, this is a detailing facility. I will say they are proficient at cleaning windows and washing cars. Don't let them touch the inside of your car, unless they are doing it for free. You will get ripped off if you do.

Made my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee look almost new. Didn't have high expectations for an older truck with 185K on the clock but we needed it cleaned before giving it to our son. Just amazing, paint looks and feels new. We paid a little more to have the paint compounded and sealed and it was worth the expense. I just hope it last longer than a normal wax!

Guys at Pit Stop did a great job on my F150. Dropped the truck off in the morning and picked it up after work looking brand new. We'll be back!

Love these guys, drop my truck off every fall. They take care of me. Wrote the review because I saw the negative one. I know Justin took over in 2014 so I don't think the bad review applies. I've never had any issues!
