Preferred Pediatrics

I just spoke with April Dick, office manager of this practice. After explaining that when our daughter was born at Centerpoint last year, our nurse asked if we had a pediatrician already. We explained that our other 3 daughters are a part of Lee's Summit Physician's Group and the nurse said that one of the pediatricians was there and rounding that morning. When Dr. Graham came in, we assumed he was a new physician with the practice since we'd never met him before and our other 3 daughters have been with Lee's Summit Physician's Group for 9 years. Anyway, it's now 13 months later and we have a $208.82 bill from Preferred Pediatrics because Dr. Graham is a part of their practice, not our pediatrician's office. April spoke loudly over me and was extremely rude and disrespectful. She basically told me that I needed to pay the bill because Dr. Graham already provided the service. I understand the rational behind her statement, but as a patient, that was NOT the proper response. I didn't request for someone from this practice to see my newborn, I requested her pediatrician's office. This is VERY poor customer service.

Love this office. Dr. McEntire is great he treats you with respect and is very thorough. Easy to talk to & down to earth. Efficient, on the ball & detailed staff. I sought out a highly rated office for my baby, one with an immunization policy I agree with & I was so glad to have found one. Especially given the recent outbreak/cluster of measles in our area. So glad they support protection of children from preventable diseases. Couldn’t be happier, would & do recommend them very highly.

Over the years these peoplehave become unfriendly and uncaring. I wouldn't recommend bringing your children here. It is likely to be a bad experience.

Not impressed what so ever by this place. I've been taking my daughter here since she was an infant, but this place has definitely gone downhill. There's really very little regard for the actual patients needs. Receptionist are unfriendly nurses are equally so. We will not quite be going back to this practice.
