Kat's Café, Taco Tuesday nights...Four tacos and a drink for 9.00 and these are cuban blackened chicken celantro peppers ect .Well I have been there on a few occasions, mostly just passing by on my motorcycle, but when I heard Dale was cooking his Tacos on Tuesdays, I gathered up the gang and headed over. We so miss his Montecitos specials. We did this over a number of weeks as the owner finally let Dale transfer it to the double deep fried tortillas and fresh chicken we missed so much. So that part was outstanding, the place has a cozy feel to it, our groups fit in at a few adjoining tables. I was a little bit disenchanted by the fact they didn't have simple rum for rum and cokes, but that was taken care of on our next of four visits for taco Tuesday. Now if we could only get them to put them in something other then a water glass, the spirits side has some staples that need to be maintained. Tubs, talls, ect . But atmosphere was great, service was good, food was good, drinks good, value was good. Im sure we will be back, my rating is 4 out of 5 stars for taco Tuesday and I do have plans to try the Friday fish fry and review that sometime.
