Silvers Jewelry

I've purchased jewelry from them on two ocassions and they were great to deal with. A good experience in a jewelry store, especially compared to other places that were very snooty. Silvers is a good place to shop.

I needed a jeweler to cut rings off my fingers after they swelled from medication. I called 6 other jewelers, and all wanted ridiculous fees (upwards of $75) for the service, and many didn't have a jeweler on-site that could do it the same day. (Note that I had severe swelling and the rings were breaking skin, so waiting another day was torture!) Silvers Jewelry told me to come in whenever it was convenient for me (which was immediately!) and they were kind, courteous and personable. The staff were far from pretentious (which is what I experienced at many other jewelers) and were very understanding and considerate of my problem. It took all of 5 minutes to cut two rings off, which was done very delicately and carefully (considering my swollen fingers). The charge...$10! Impressive service, impressive attitude and outstanding quality of care. I'll be back when it's time to get the rings fixed!
