William L. Parker joined Mizerowski Thon Parker & Lefere, P.C. in 2013. Mr. Parker has been defending first- and third party auto claims for more than 20 years in both trial courts and appellate courts. In addition to automobile actions, he has litigated a broad range of personal injury and wrongful death claims including premises liability, marine/boating, off road vehicle, and dog bite claims. He regularly assists clients by providing opinions on and litigating coverage disputes. Mr. Parker also handles fraudulent insurance claims on behalf of insurance carriers’ special investigation units.
We litigate employment disputes for employers including claims of discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation based on race, national origin, sex/gender, pregnancy, disability or age as well as claims based on the Whistleblowers Protection Act, Constitutional violations, Title VII violations, breach of employment contracts, Family Medical Leave Act and wage and hour disputes. We also work with our clients to avoid risks, including the development of personnel policies and standard operating procedures that will help insulate employers from claims. We conduct presentations and training to management and other employees to educate on compliance with employment issues.

Mr. Parker has extensive litigation experience defending municipal entities throughout the State of Michigan in a variety of actions, including advising and litigating employment claims, zoning disputes, Freedom of Information Act claims, personal injury claims as well as a myriad of other claims unique to municipalities.
Sexual Harassment
Mr. Parker litigates employment claims for both municipalities and businesses, including claims involving discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower/retaliation, disability, wage and hour and a variety of Constitutional and Title VII based claims. Mr. Parker has been a lecturer at Municipal Claims Conferences on various subjects including First Amendment employment litigation, whistleblower claims, zoning litigation and has presented case overviews involving complex employment litigation matters.
Timothy W. Mizerowski is the principal shareholder and Senior Partner of Mizerowski Thon Parker & Lefere, P.C. In practice since 1990, he specializes in insurance and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Mizerowski’s extensive insurance defense litigation experience includes first- and third-party automobile litigation, premises liability claims, general negligence claims, insurance coverage disputes and subrogation matters. Mr. Mizerowski regularly conducts examinations under oath and works with insurance carriers’ special investigation units to uncover fraudulent insurance claims.

We provide efficient and cost effective representation of insurance carriers in subrogation and indemnification cases arising out of personal injury and property damage claims. Often these claims arise out of automobile accidents were a claimant is paid no fault benefits. We have established a successful litigation process where we are able to properly assess and quickly file a lawsuit against the proper party who failed to adequately protect against the lost. We then work economically through the litigation process to obtain a judgment for our client.
Roger J. Thon joined Mizerowski Thon Parker & Lefere, P.C. in March 2011. He focuses a majority of his practice in insurance defense litigation, representing insurers and their insureds in personal injury defense, coverage disputes, and subrogation matters.
