we used to go there for diner but lately their service is worse and the food quality is getting worse as well. Last time we went there, it was not so crowded, waters were standing by the desk talking to each other and we waited about 20 minutes for someone to ask what we want. The hot and sour soup did not have any taste, and the chicken cashew had a terrible smell like it was cooked for at least a week. They offered a glass of water , but to get a second glass .. it was no way.... We called them.. .they said right away.. but they never brought the water.... they gave us the bill instead.....I don't think I will go there again......

Overall
Amazing Food!!

I have been going to Thien Hong for about 20 years now. When I started going there as a child, they only had eight small tables. Since that time, they have expanded twice, and now have a very popular establishment. Their Pepper-salted squid is a MUST TRY!!!! I have never gone their without getting it. Now, I have had calamari a LOT of different places, from upscale restaurants and benefits, to weddings and buffets, small restaurants and national chains... And let me tell you that I have never had any with the wonderful flavor that Thien Hong carries. They fry the calamari in a batter with seasonings in it, then almost toss it with sauteed onions, and serve it. Absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!! Another family favorite for us, is the black bean clam dish. Again, the rating is in the flavor!!! Such a wonderful, flavorful blend of flavors, and I haven't found it beat... The downsides to this company are, in my opinion, outweighed by the wonderful food, but for the sake of fairness, I will list them anyway. The parking is scarce, as they have a small lot on both sides to the building, but they only hold about 20 cars combined. There is street parking available on the main road, but also the little side streets. The side streets tend to be narrow, so keep that in mind. They do not take reservations, but do their best to get you seated as quickly as possible. Another downside is that since it is owner operated, they sometimes take vacations and you will find an empty parking lot when you pull up. But, the inconvenience of these downsides are not enough to keep me away. I will continue to visit this establishment for another 20 years to come!!!
