During my 30+ years of experience in private practice, I have served as the primary care physician for some of the most influential people in the Silicon Valley. Family Practice
I have been the fortunate recipient of scholarships that have allowed me to be trained at some of America's most prestigious institutions. I received my undergraduate degree at Pomona College and my medical degree from Stanford University. I completed my internship and residency specializing in family medicine at the Stanford-affiliated San Jose Hospital. I am Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. I was conveyed the honor of being selected to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians for my service to the Academy promoting and teaching the tenets of Family Practice and San Jose Magazine selected me for their “Top Doc” award.
Immunizations
Please, bring to your appointment a copy of your passport or driver’s license, proof of your health insurance if you have any, and any vaccination records you may have. Most adults do not have vaccination records, and it will not be a problem. Everyone must show proof of Covid 19 vaccination at the time of the appointment.

Mental Health
I recently finished an externship here. I had great and valuable experience in Dr. Washington’s practice. It’s the only hands-on clinical experience in California for IMGs there and really worth the time. Dr. Washington has excellent communication and relationship with his patients. He is committed to a holistic approach for patient care. I enjoyed his enthusiasm for educating his patients (whether it’s how to manage your back pain, using inhalers in an effective way, boosting mental health or applying wellness habits to your life). Also, he is determined to teach his externs and provide them with learning opportunities that they will benefit from. I highly recommend Dr. Washington’s practice.
