Black Bear Diner

I figured this place needed a positive review. My family has been here numerous times and every one was a good experience. I don't know about the experiences by those other reviewers, but we have been going there for several years now and as I previously stated all good. Maybe they had a management change, since their visit. My family and I enjoy it there. They have good food, good service and a clean comfortable atmosphere there. In fact, my wife and I live in Vacaville and we would rather eat at this location than the Vacaville location. We have never had a good experience there. Our son and Granddaughter live in Suisun City, so that is how we ended up there. The food is reasonably priced, too. We recommend this place. Enjoy...

I came here with the family for my dad's birthday back in February. I had horrible time there. The food is good but the service was just overwhelmingly awful. It wasn't a busy night at all. My parents coffee arrived cold and since all waiting staff disappeared (are they also the chefs or something?) we had to get up with the coffee and go near the kitchen to get them to heat it up. Forget about refills. Food took forever to come out too. It was ridiculous. We should have walked out it was so insulting. My sister recommended this same place so maybe this was just a one time thing since she comes here often. This was my first time here (first impressions are important) and I don't think I ever want to come back here no matter how good the food was
