Chinese Shao-Lin Center Kung Fu

I have been attending classes two to three days a week for the past two years. I wake up every day looking forward to the next class!!! I had no previous experience in martial arts. Now I'm a Black Belt! Thank you Master Abram and Sifu Leslie!!!

I'm thrilled with what I'm learning here! Seems to be not only the most affordable KungFu school here in Albuquerque, but the most authentic! My instructor is a 5th Black Master!

I just have to give my comments about what a great place this is. The instructors are so awesome and yet so modest. I can't believe how low the prices are. It's made such a huge difference since my boss cut back my hours at work. I'm really thankful for the amount of attention I receive and the training I get. I could just go on and on but I think I've said enough.

The instructors and students here are super friendly and extremely helpful. I see myself here for the long haul.

This is THE place to train for martial arts in Albuquerque!

I have studied various martial arts over many years. The depth of knowledge here is amazing, staggering in its history. There is enough material here to continue learning for the rest of my life. The Shao Lin life style is focused on being strong and fit for the rest of my life, increasing strength, flexibility, mental focus, and increasing and strengthening the ability to learn. The moment you get a grasp on a form, new material is presented to keep the mind reaching, stretching, and growing. The atmosphere is warm, encouraging, and receptive to any skill level and ability. It is the only martial arts gathering where I have not run into students with egos and bad attitudes. The atmosphere created by the instructors and fellow students gently and quietly teaches those who have carried egos to lay them aside. What a refreshing way to train.

I take the university class and have been to the center a few times now. I have found that the instructors are all about teaching their art and not about making money. I find it incredibly refreshing in this day and age.

I have found this martial art to be the perfect compliment to everything I do in life. This is truly the school of life mastering. It has blown me away. I'm thrilled. Great atmosphere and great people. So positive. So effective.

Simply the best!

Just wanted to say that I like having a martial art that is both physical and mentally challenging. Since I consider myself both an athlete and a scholar, I appreciate the depth of this martial art they are teaching here at the Chinese Shao-Lin Center. I haven't found anything that has come close to this amazing place!In light of the review complaining about promotions, I just have to say that our instructors are full-time martial arts teachers and this is one of the ways that they stay in business - by promoting and teaching many different aspects of this great system. Isn't is nice to have instructors who do this as a profession and not as a part-time endeavor? These people are so devoted to their chosen field - and it shows with their passion and excitement!Come on, let's be appreciative of what we really have here...

I have never seen anything to compare with the depth and wonder of this art called Shsaolin Kung Fu.I have trained at many different styles of martial arts in the US and Korea, including TaeKwanDo, Wushu KungFu, Aikido, and Shotokan Karate and read extenseively concerning the history and Masters of different martial arts. The school environment is one of exceptional encouragement and knowledge, and a unique ability to impart that knowledge. I have never seen egos or bad attitudes. The 18 classical weapons include rare forms like Tai Chi Broad Sword, and 'Hsing-I Straight Sword. The improvement to helath goes beyond simple conditioning. 1500 years of Shaoling knowledge have helped improve my health as well as strength, flexibility, and conditioning. Any one seeking to start or broaden their martial art should stop by and talk to the instructors, other students, and watch a couple of classes. They will find they have come home.

real impressed with this place. like the fact they only have adult classes. training space is really cool. people are nice. like the exercise and pace. they're real patient with me. i'm having fun. nothing more to say here.

I've been recommending this place to everyone I know! I've felt that I've grown as a person and a martial artist in just the few months that I've been here. It appears leaps and bounds to any other place and I no longer even go to my old gym. The workouts here are exciting and fun! I'm hooked!

Clearly the best martial arts school in Albuquerque, hands down. The content is incredible. This is the school to go to for the real deal. Unselfish system that gives all the secrets with a lifetime's worth of material!

Top notch martial art. If you want the real stuff, I don't know anywhere else in Albuquerque where you can get it, except here. I've tried every wushu, kung fu, gong fu, and Chinese martial art - this place is serious! Real attacks, real moves, and real people! Down to earth, reliable instruction from a guy who seems to know his (and everyone else's) martial art inside and out. Accurate, to the point, no frills, all thrills.
