The Ann Arbor YMCA is a nonprofit membership organization of men, women and children. Established in 1858, it operates a health and wellness department that conducts personal fitness and aerobics classes. The organization s Camp Al-Gon-Quian is a residential summer camp that serves children between the ages of 8 and 16. The Ann Arbor YMCA offers several sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball and football. It administers the Teen After School Program for students in grades five through eight. The organization also offers a range of recreational activities, including archery, swimming, sailing, canoeing and drama. The Ann Arbor YMCA provides financial assistance solutions.
