Stole my lawn mower after I payed 100 dollars for them to fix it. These 2 guys are the craziest mothers you will ever meet

Suggest finding another Lawnmower Repair shop - I was charged for work not completed and wasn't called for authorization of repairs supposedly completed.

Go somewhere else. They've ...

Go somewhere else.

They've had my mower since May; I can never reach them on the phone. Both my husband and I have gone by there and were told that (1) it would be ready in 4 days and they'd call (not true) (2) it would be ready the next day and they'd call (not true) (3) a part was ordered and it would be in tomorrow and they'd call (not true) (4) they'd call us the next day after they FIND my mower (not true). I'm calling to let them know we're coming to take it back tomorrow, but the line is busy, busy.

They kept our lawn mower.

My husband and I took our lawn mower to Riha's after it just konked out. The older gentlemen that helped us were very sweet at first, and told us we had a damaged blade and that it wasn't running because we had put car oil in it and now it needed to be flushed. They also estimated that it would cost about $90 for those two services, which we thought was kind of high, but since it wasn't running, and we don't know how to fix mowers, we left it with them. They told us it would take a week because it wasn't anything major. We left our phone number and went home. A week came and went, no phone call. Finally my husband called them, they hadn't gotten to it yet. At the two week mark, he tried calling again, and the phone was busy. He called numerous times and this was always the case that day. Finally, we drove over there and when he asked about the mower, the man said "Well we can't fix it in 5 minutes!" and seemed really irritated. We told him that they had the lawn mower for 2 weeks! He promised to get to it next and call us later that day. That phone call never came, and now three weeks after we dropped it off, our lawn was up to our thighs (I'm not lying) and we still hadn't heard from Riha's. We called one more time, no answer. We finally had to go buy a new one (the one we dropped off was a second hand, older mower). We've still never heard from them. I guess they're just keeping our mower. I'll never go back there again.
