Bates City Antique Co

This is a very nice antique mall. The people who run it are just great - down to earth, friendly, helpful not pushy. Coffee, and sweets create a very homey atmosphere. The mall is huge. It is three large buildings, one of which is all flea market items - fun for hunting! Anyway, everyone should take the time to visit you will find something and its open everyday. Fantastic place! The people were so friendly. When I walked in the door I got a great big "Hello! Welcome to Bates City Antiques!" How many places do that nowadays? They had free coffee and tea and goodies. I was wandering around with stuff in my hands and one of the ladies came up and took them for me so I didn't have to carry them all thru the store. Great customer service. There was so much to see I'd have to go back everyday for a week to see it all. I had also been to some of the other towns shops and I was very surprised at the prices very reasonable and in some cases cheap.I got a Christmas light up box for a friend there and she loved it! I will definately going back again and again! Thanks BCA!

Clean, well lite, organized and aisles you can walk through. Excellent selection of furniture. They have a great amount of glassware, plus Fenton old and new. There is also a flea market with not just flea stuff but antiques in it. I had fun and the customer service was great, even had a couple of free cups of tea. I bought a set of dessert/sherbet cups very nice.
