I am retired and on a fixed income. I have developed pains and aches because of my growing age, but made the sacrifice of bending on my elderly legs to smash cans--sometimes injuring my feet from my intense efforts.Over the course of a year, I collected cans making sure there were no items inside and smashing them flat myself in preparation of getting a fair compensation in return. I had 264lbs of individually smashed cans with obviously NO TRASH in them. I took them to Recycle Quick Scrap Metal seeking a fair exchange. These were 4 unsealed industrial bags in which had so many cans I could not close them. I was shocked when I received $63.82 after they subtracted "tare weight" (110LBS for supposed trash). I should have received OVER $100 dollars, but it was STOLEN FROM ME. Anyone considering bringing their material to this business: DON'T.

Simply put: They "fooked" over me.
