Good food, Good service. Good prices.

Terrible!! My husband and I came here on our first and last visit. The food was sub par, typical diner food, nothing special at all. The eggs were a weird almost neon yellow and the gravy on the biscuits was definitely a powder mix. The part that I found intolerable was that I was stuck in their bathroom for 10 minutes. They had no toilet paper in the women's bathroom. I had to text my husband to find someone to bring me some.

He went to the lady at the counter and told her the situation. The idiot sent a man to knock on the bathroom door. I was in the stall. What was she expecting I do, get up with my pants around my ankles????

Then instead of just bringing it herself she asks accross the whole restaurant "DO YOU WANT ME TO BRING THAT INTO THE RESTROOM FOR HER SIR"? To my husband. What an idiot. Of course the paper needed to be brought into the restroom. I wasn't about to waddle out with my pants off to get it. When I asked to speak to a manager some guy with an apron, who I know could not have been the manager, came out of the kitchen with a real insincere apology.

I would rather eat at mcdonalds than come into this place again. Subpar food, staff with no brains, and a manager who doesn't care. Awful experiance

Okay, Pancakes this morning was good around 11 am this morning August 27, 2014. However, the service was awful. The lady with the black hair around the age of 40 could care less about customer service. She was not friendly and didn't smile. You don't like your job, get a different job.

Then, a person a my table asked If someone could taste (little sample cup) the gravy before I buy for the biscuits and gravy(maybe she won't like it). The lady said snidely, we don't just give it away for free. Really??!! I know, that why she wanted to a sample of it, please.

Then after breakfast my mother was filling out the info on the credit card slip and not 1 second after she filled it out the waitress said "GIVE ME THE PEN BACK'. OMG.. My mom was about to take the tip off for her attitue (she didn't). How rude. I definately, won't be back again.

I think Sam's is doing a great job with the menu, and I am pretty happy to go there since it is such a large selection. I would say, though, that the specials are more that off the regular part of the menu, if you check it out. Most of their food seems freshly cooked. Good luck with the place Sam! I come in often and like it very well.
