I had need of an honest and experienced Auto mechanic as my 2005 Astro Van's U-joints were going out. I asked my fishing buddy, where he would take his car in Belton and he said, "Take it to Ron at Belton Transmission on N. Scott, he's a good mechanic and he won't rip you off!" That was good enough for me to start. Ron has a good sense of humor, and he gets right down to business. He had my U Joints changed out in less than 2 hours after I walked in, I was going home, mission accomplished. I just came back on my 2nd trip for a safety inspection. Other shops had told me that I needed new tie rod ends, and new ball joints. Ron's team of mechanics discovered that my sway bar had cracked...$45 weld and my van passed inspection. I also had him replace my brake pads as they were close to not passing. I have a 1 ton van, and need to be able to stop. Again all that work done in a timely manner and I could afford his fair prices! It is great to find an honest mechanic shop! THANKS!!!

I drove in this morning because the gearshift lever on the automatic was feeling very sloppy. My Ford's 15 years old with 172K miles and I was worried I'd need an expensive rebuild. Well, the only thing wrong was a loose bolt which they fixed for nothing. Can you believe that? It's this kind of honesty and service that gets them a customer for life. Don't waste your time going anywhere else in the Belton area.

went to this shop to get some work done.. the price was good. i have taken cars there before. never had a problem with anything. this time the work was done and something was wrong. took the car back the next day they were open. they got the car i right away. didnt give me one bit of trouble. fixed it again. things happen.. i wasnt upset that something was wrong. what makes it easy is they just fixed it without giving me a headache. good people. clean shop
