Don't let a relative buy you cigars for a gift there. $230.00 Worthless old cigars/no return, I've spent my last BUCK with these guys after 10 years of lousy customer service! I tossed them on there counter & told them to smoke them, I would rather have a Cuban Reject !

The staff is always helpful and very friendly. The staff is also very knowledgeable of all of the different cigars. It’s just a very relaxing place to go and enjoy a cigar.

This Highly Over Priced Joint has a Wide selection of cigars and they certainly appear to be well maintained but talk about HIGH Priced smokes !!! !!! This place is a GYP DeLuxe !!!! Makes Diebel Sportsman Gallery look like a Budget Shop !!! !!!

I went to the Cigar Merchant today because I felt like browsing some cigars and they have a decent selection. I could not enjoy my experience or even shop because the Harry Potter looking DBag behind the counter followed me everywhere I went like I was a criminal. I jokingly told him that I could keep my hands in the air if that would relax him. And he told me if you don't like being watched all the time you can go somewhere else. When I asked to speak to his manager he told me he was the manager. Doesn't sound like a business-minded individual to me. Do not go here unless you want to be blatantly disrespected by staff.

I am very new to cigars and have many questions as well as small budget to get started with. I have bought cigars from this store before and had very pleasant conversations with the staff. As I am on a budget and new to the preservation of fine cigars I require some advise and mentoring. I met Benjamin 09/22/2014 and brought in a budget travel humidor needing Xikar solution and advise. What I received is a pompous jerk. I will likely never return to this store. I will drive the extra mileage to another establishment that does not require you to know everything or purchase only their items. I am understanding that he may have preferred I purchase from him but the fact is I did not. That fact some how banned me from gaining ANY advise on use of the fluid or humidity gel packs that I was purchasing. I am sad that someone with experience with cigars utterly refused to to help a newbie find and experience the world of cigars. I would not recommend this store to anyone .. at least while "Benjamin" is in the building!
