Emergency Care
A native to Michigan, Rachel attended Grand Valley State University earning her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. She obtained Board Certification and has been working in orthopaedics since graduating. Bay Street welcomes her experience in Emergency Care with Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification, Walk-In-Clinic Care and Chronic Pain Management. These experiences benefit patients by recognizing emergent and surgical needs while utilizing multimodality treatments to optimize patient care and outcome.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Dr. O’Callaghan’s hand, wrist, and elbow special interests include fracture care, arthritis, joint replacement, sports injuries, and pediatric trauma and deformity. He is trained in endoscopic carpal tunnel release, and is an instructor for other surgeons. He is passionate about the care of his patients, and states, “Our hands mold our most meaningful interactions with the world, and it is a privilege to help patients with hand and upper extremity ailments. When I am with a patient, I try to not just understand their condition but what it is holding them back from and their treatment goals. From there my job is to provide education and come together on a treatment plan. Whether it’s reassurance to having surgery, I am dedicated to providing top notch treatment to each and every patient”.

Ultrasound
Traditional, endoscopic and ultrasound-guided carpel tunnel release surgery for those whose nerve pain, numbness, swelling, and limited movement do not respond to non-surgical interventions.
Computed Tomography
During the procedure, an advanced 3-D CT scan yields a highly detailed anatomical picture unique to each patient. Haptic technology—or surgeon-guided 3D touch—enables the surgeon to apply movements or vibrations to the joint to effectively remove soft tissue or bone and to facilitate precise implant placement. Throughout the procedure and recovery, analytical data is compiled to use against benchmarks for improved outcomes and increased patient satisfaction. “It takes our skill set to another level and allows us to perform joint replacement procedures with incredible accuracy,” says Orthopaedic Surgeon Eric Mancini, MD. “This technology is here to stay.”

Orthopedics
Bill Crook, PA-C is a native of Charlevoix Mi. He and his wife, Tina, moved back to the area in 2009 with their young family. Bill has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Michigan State University, and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan in 2004. He has worked in orthopedics for the 15 years since, downstate in Owosso and Grand Rapids, and for the last 9 years at Munson Hospital Grayling before joining the Bay St. team.
Joint Replacement
Dr. Anderson is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Anderson’s practice focuses on treating hip and knee osteoarthritis, painful or problematic hip and knee replacements, as well as total joint replacements for post-traumatic arthritis and other complex hip and knee deformities and degenerative conditions.
Orthopedic Surgery
Eric spent the first two years of his career with Detroit Medical Center Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery. Eric assisted in joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, and hip. He is also proficient in knee, shoulder, and hip injections. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Hip Replacement

His passion for orthopaedics is rooted in restoring function, relieving pain, and returning normalcy to his patient’s lives. Physical Therapy
