i had a starter installed at palmer 2 years ago and it has gone bad again when i called palmer to find out about the warranty i was told that it only had a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty and i was ok with that . i decided to replace the starter myself and when i took it out i found that the starter was installed with a broken housing the auto parts could not accept the starter core and i took it back to palmer after 4 days bob from palmer denied that they installed it that way. the core charge was only $30.00 and i was called a liar they put it in and i removed it i will never go back there again and i would suggest no one else go there the $30.00 is not the point it is the fact that they will not stand behind their work

Best place in Washtenaw County for car repairs! Trustworthy, reliable & fairly priced. Can't imagine taking my car anywhere else. Being a woman, I haven't felt the best about taking my car to places but Bob & his team are awesome at Palmer Auto Service in Chelsea.

They do great work and can be trusted to do what is needed. I've been using them for all my vehicle maintenance prior to the "dealership" and post "dealership". Same friendly staff and quality mechanics.
