Dal Queenan worked for our builder to do work in our house. He seemed to do well until he was done. Not when the work was done correctly just until he figured it was done.

When he installed the pole on our front porch it was off to the side of the corner and looked really bad. He was happy with the job said he was not fixing. I ended up doing the work myself to make it look right.

Our builder also used his painter and some other services in our new home. No one cleaned or vacuumed the house before paint so we are now sanding dirt from the walls and moldings. Most of the crown moldings themselves are now loose and require work, again I will fix. Along with the painted walls we received painted tile floors. We contacted our builder and he said that the painter needs to clean that up. Dal came over and scrubbed a small section for about five minutes to show us how easy it was to clean. The whole time he was on the phone telling his painter how we were complaing and just lined him up on other jobs. After it was all said and done we spent three days scrubbing floors and still never got all the paint off.

We noticed alot of cracking in the dry wall around the doors. My wife wanted a differant door for the pantry so I changed it for her. When I took the moldings off I found broken dry wall. It looks like they were having trouble getting the moldings on the doors due to the dry wall being uneven. Instead of trimming the dry wall back they took a hammer and bust it out. Then they took a razor and trimmed off the extra. I now have to worry about and or fix cracking dry wall around my doors.

Dal also built other homes in our sub. They were using a common area to store gravel and broken cement. When the last house was done the crew he used to level the ground buried all the cement. Some of this was gravel from drive ways other was cement from warranty or cleaning out cement trucks. We contacted our builder and Dal is trying to blame all this mess on the person who poured the drive ways in the sub. This person is not related to Dal and did not clean his trucks out in this area. We now have a very ugly land scape job in this area, with old silt fence and constant mud running in the road.

We have other work that really needed to be looked at but its just easier not to listen to Dal and do it ourself. I'm sure he likes it this way so he needs not waste his time with warranty work.
