Dental Examination
It is important to brush and floss your teeth daily, as well as routine oral hygiene visits every six months to keep your teeth and gums healthy. As part of a comprehensive dental exam and professional cleaning, we will use digital radiography to search for decay and gum disease. Fluoride Treatment
Dental Sealants
Some patients may experience mild and temporary post-placement sensitivity from composite resin fillings. The only caution we generally tell each patients is that coffee, tea, and other staining foods and beverages may discolor your composite unless you ask to have them coated with a clear plastic sealant.

Fillings
We only use premium composite resin to fill cavities because they offer long-lasting strength and patient safety over traditional silver, or amalgam fillings.
Resin Composite
Because composite resin fillings are not made of metal, we can blend and mix shades so that it closely matches the shade of your tooth making it look natural. Only you and your dentist will know about your fillings. Also, the tooth/composite bond actually supports the left over tooth structure, which helps prevent breakage and insulates against hot and cold temperature changes.
Veneers

Dental Bonding
Restorative Dentistry is extensive, offering alternatives that repair and restore impaired, decayed, or dislodged teeth. Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment usually involves the removal of the tooth’s pulp, a small thread-like tissue that was important for tooth development. Once removed, it is replaced with materials that seal off the root canal from its supporting structures. Years ago, disease or injured teeth were often extracted. Today, even if the pulp of one of your teeth becomes injured or infected, it often can be saved through root canal (endodontic) treatment.

Deep Cleaning
At Alpine Dental, we offer modernized and fully developed periodontal therapy programs to help keep the disease in check. With a scaling and root planning procedure, we get rid of buildup from below the gums, then smooth out rough tooth surfaces to prevent plaque buildup in the future.

Dentures
Oral cancer kills more people nationwide than either cervical or skin (melanoma) cancer, and only half of patients diagnosed will survive more than five years. One American dies every hour from oral cancer. The most common risk factors are tobacco use, frequent high quantity alcohol consumption, constant sunlight exposure, habitual cheek or lip biting, or poorly fitting dentures. Although 80 to 90 percent of oral cancers are found in people who use tobacco and/or drink alcohol excessively, 25 percent of oral cancers occur in people who have no risk factors at all.

There are a wide variety of different types of dental implants, but at their core a dental implant starts with a small post that is used as an artificial substitute for the root of a tooth. Next what is known as an abutment, or connector is placed on top of the dental implant. Finally a replacement tooth is built to match your teeth and thus complete the dental implant. As you can imagine it takes great precision to ensure a dental implant looks natural and blends in with your existing teeth. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
After a thorough evaluation, your dentist can tell you whether you’re a candidate for dental implants. They require adequate bone structure for placement. The first stage of the procedure involves oral surgery in which a titanium post is implanted into the jawbone for each missing tooth or for the new teeth that will anchor a bridge or denture. Nature will take its course, allowing your bone tissue to fuse with the titanium post. This creates a solid foundation.
