I come here for glass bottles for my water.
They was closed for Christmas recently and I had to go somewhere else where I was not treated as well. Everyone who comes here is treated like one of there own, no what I mean?
Anyway, to me, buying in MI and also in the USA means a lot and so does good customer service and these folks do both of them. The sales man told me almost all of their items are made in the USA, keeping our money in our economy.
I send others here and my son told me if I liked them so much I should come out on the internet and praise them here as well.

I sell Shea Butter & Body Products. Porter Bottle Company was suggested to me by one of my customers and was new to me. I guess theyve been in business for more than 70 years but I had never heard of them. I was really happy to learn of them tho!

First off: It's a family business. They spent a long time with me and my husband and answered all of our questions. We had been buying from two container websites and when we called them on the phone to ask questions, it always seemed like we were a bother (one of the online companys will only take orders for more than $100 over the phone!)
The Porters let my husband, who was not feeling well, sit down and brought us each a bottle of water from their kitchen. My husband sat at the owners' desk while the boss stood.

Second: The prices were a few cents more than the prices on the website... before paying shipping and handling. Okay so I picked up and the price was much cheaper because of it but if you are reading this from out of town, here's why you should buy from the Porters...
I was paying $31 & change from one of the websites for shipping & HANDLING and it seemed okay. When I mentioned it to Mr. Porter he asked me how many and what type of bottles I bought. When I told him, he got a funny look on his face, went to a shelf and had his cousin weigh the 4 containers on a scale. He then looked up how much the ACTUAL SHIPPING was cost from that companies zip code to my home in Royal Oak, MI. Guess what, for my $115.00 of bottles, the shipping should have cost around $19.00. The other company had overcharged me $12!!! Mr. Porter explained to me that his company only charge for shipping, not handling so if I needed bottles while I am at a show in Chicago this summer for instance, it will only cost me about $12.20. I really appreciated that and I think you would to!

Third: This is a small business, not just a family business. They work real hard. While I was there I saw them running around filling orders, working with customers, and doing little things that most customers probably don't even appreciate,, all with smiles on their faces. Small businesses like these are not found very often. Support this one. If you need containers, buy them from Porter Bottle Company and get treated like a member of the FAMILY.

Amazing small business with really good customer service. Their sauce bottles look great on my restaurant counter filled with our house-made marinade. I'm going to look into crafting a salad dressing to fill those fantastic new Plastic Salad Dressing bottles. All in all I appreciate this company. After trying several other local and web-based bottle distributors, Porter Bottle is my favorite. Keep up the good work and thank you!

When living in Michigan I had purchased all my bottles from Porter's, but moving to New Mexico proved a challenge in acquiring my needed supplies. I've been a customer of Porter Bottle Co for a few years and although they are always friendly and helpful, today was the best experience i've ever had there. My daughter and I went there to pick up some beauty supply bottles for our lip gloss and lotion business and the owner and his office people were so helpful! They took over an hour showing us lots of new bottles (they've added a ton of them in the past year since the son took over the company) and I got a lot of new ideas for my business. They even gave me a few free few samples of the new items so that I could take pictures of them for my website tonight since i plan on buying them in the future but didn't have enough $$$ to buy a few dozen. Their prices are reasonable and the new jars are a bit fancier looking which should help me raise my bottom line. I hope they keep going strong and I highly recommend Porter Bottle Co to everyone out there interested in purchasing bottles, jars, or whatever you need that they have!
