Strong's Alignment Service

The "customer service" is un-existing in this shop. TOTAL IGNORANCE. They DON’T talk to you at all. office is rotten down and smelly. they smoke in there. I went there by high recommendations from trusted friend to do an alignment and mount 2 of my own tires. They could not do the alignment due to some wear of suspension parts (understandable), but decided to pursue (no phone call) with mounting of the tires and charge me 80$ to mount 2 of my own tires (while promised a day before that it should be 19$ per tire), gave me BS that the rims are bad and they had to polish it and spend time, and, as I found out later, put the old worn tires into my trunk for me to dispose it. Other place just across the street does tire mount for 15$ per tire, no questions ask, no extras, and they never leave old tires up to your discretion. Avoid this place. BAD, BAD, BAD. All they care is immediate gain.

Recently had an alignment done from these guys, and while the situation on the whole is unfortunate (dealing with a fender bender), I can't believe how much better my car drives. I explained that I was in a low-speed accident, and Strong's said they would take a look at it first and proceed with an alignment if it looked okay. Well, I had been dealing with another "alignment" place for the past few years, and while the guys there were nice and they had attractive prices, I couldn't believe how much better of a job Strong's did. Honestly, the car drives better than it ever has, and I've had it for over five years now. I'd recommend them to friends and family any day.

Potential Customer Beware!



I've dealt with these people twice. Once about 12 years ago and then again this past week(2/14/2012). I figured, well, its been 12 years, let me give them another shot. Bad idea! Both times were equally terrible. I keep hearing good things about this place but I don't understand why. The shop is grossly behind the curve as far as upkeep, technology(coming from a car guy) and most importantly customer service! They hardly speak to you nor want to hear from you, its like the "soup nazi" or something which is fine if they did good work, but they don't! Both times they scratched my factory rims installing new tires. This most recent time the gouge went literally half way around the rim! It was cause by the wheel weight rotating around while balancing the tires. I went back down there the next day and Anthony didn't want to hear it. I showed one of the other guys who cared less the gouge; he realized it was their fault and told me to call back next week to set up a time to try to resolve the issue. I'm thinking, Are you serious?? I'm here now!! Set me up!! However, they have my money and I got a gouge in my rim in return. I'll be giving them a call Monday but I wont hold my breath. My recommendation? STAY AWAY!!!!!
