Dental Sealants
A dental curing light is used for polymerization of light cure resin based composites. It can be used on several different dental materials that are curable by light such as fillings and sealants.

Resin Composite
A dental crown is a prosthetic cap thatâ€™s designed to look and function just like a natural tooth. Itâ€™s fitted over a tooth that has experienced significant damage or decay after the tooth has been prepared. Dental crowns are most often made from porcelain, ceramic, composite resin, or acrylic.
Veneers
In the past, a veneer required the shaving down of the natural teeth and anesthesia. And veneers placed this way were irreversible. New developments in dentistry have made the porcelain used for veneers strong enough to be made wafer-thin and there is no need for shaving down your natural teeth.
Crowns
A crown is used to cover a damaged, broken or decayed tooth. Your tooth is first filed down to allow the crown to solidly cover it. A temporary crown is made and placed over the treated tooth, and once ready, your custom-made crown is placed and cemented on.

Dental Bonding

Root Canal Treatment
Dr. Mark Karpman is our in-house endodontist. While Dr. Christensen and Dr. Nathan Christensen are trained to handle simple root canals, Dr. Karpman is an expert in dealing with more complex cases.

Dr. Jeff Takai, is a dental implant and gum disease specialist at Rancho San Diego Dental Group. Dr. Takai grew up in southern California where his father was also a dentist. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery

Gum Surgery

Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Beyer-Jordan earned her dental degree and PhD degree from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University and Dental School in Frankfurt, Germany. After several years in private practice, she became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa where she devoted her spare time to help the underserved townships in need of dental surgery.
Tooth Extractions
The socket preservation procedure is used to preserve the maximum amount of bone after tooth extraction in preparation for future implant placement. The socket of the tooth is filled with bone grafting material to help minimize post-extraction bone loss.
Bone Grafting
A cutting-edge development is an artificial bone material that’s made from protein found in animal bone. Other kinds of bone grafting material are cadaver bone and animal bone, usually cow.

Orthodontics
Dr. Beyer-Jordan found that she had a passion for orthodontics, and was accepted to the prestigious Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Charite', Humboldt- University in Berlin, Germany where she spent her residency, post graduate training and received her degree as an orthodontist. While there, she became Assistant Professor where her advanced training and publishing focused on the research of cleft-palate patients as well as comprehensive orthodontic care. After relocating to California she obtained her dental license from the University of Southern California (USC).
Invisalign Orthodontics
Janet is a teacher from Spring Valley. Her upper teeth were out of alignment and she chose to straighten them with Invisalign. â€œI loved how quick and easy the entire Invisalign process was. Dr. Anke Beyer-Jordan is our in-house orthodontist at Rancho San Diego Dental Group in El Cajon. Dr. Beyer-Jordan is trained to deal with complex cases, both through the use of clear aligners, or traditional braces. She has decades of experience, and has straightened the teeth of thousands of happy patients.
