Last night my husband and I went to dinner at Los Mariachis. It was not crowded, so I assumed that we would be in and out fairly quickly. We sat down, ordered our drinks, and waited. The waitress brought out chips and salsa, and we were still waiting on our drinks. We asked for water, which she brought, but still no drinks. The waitress took our order, still no drinks. About 15 minutes later, the "manager" came by and asked if everything was okay. I told him that we still had no been given our drinks. He left, and the waitress came back with our food. Still no drinks, and I realized, no silverware. We were brought silverware, still no drinks. At this point, I was not surprised that the beans were bland and the tacos were soggy. Finally, a few minutes later, the drinks arrived, and of course, they were not what we ordered, but at this point, I just wanted it to end. The waitress sped by and said that we would not be charged for the drinks since it took so long. We thought that was appropriate. When we got our check, the drinks were on it. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she apologized and took the check to the back. The manager came out and told us that we were charged the correct amount for the drinks. I told him what the waitress said, and his response was, "Is she going to pay for them?" I reiterated that it is unacceptable to wait a total of 30 minutes and then get your drinks after your food arrives. He looked irritated, left, and came back with a $5 coupon for our next visit. I couldn't believe it. No apologies, he just dropped it on the table and left. I decided not to be that person who causes a scene, though I felt I had a right to do so. The waitress came back, she apologized, I left the coupon on the table, paid the waitress, and we left, completely disgusted with the experience.

Another one of Fayetteville, Ga's hidden gems. Los Mariachis is WAY better than the overly-popular La Parilla. The food is excellent, in taste and presentation. The service is extraordinary. Everyone, and I mean everyone, who worked at the restaraunt thanked my family for eating at their restaraunt. Our waiter, Richard, was perfect. He made sure we had all that we need and checked on us throughout the meal but without hovering. I feel like it is really hard to find a good Mexican restaraunt in the Fayetteville area, that is until I tried Los Mariachis. It's a little off the beaten path but definitely worth the visit.
