Dr. Verratti enjoys giving back to the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery and the community. She had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to provide care for underserved communities in need of oral surgery services. In NYU, she was an instructor in head and neck anatomy and practical dental Spanish for dental students. She also lectured at Bellevue Hospital to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. During her time at Harbor-UCLA, she supervised and worked closely with dental students. She was also an invited speaker at the annual Southern California academy of oral and maxillofacial pathology.

"Dr. Francesca Verratti (Dr. V) is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She received her first D.D.S degree at the Central University of Venezuela, which she completed with honors. She then completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship in Caracas, followed by another year of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in Bogota, Colombia, at the Central Military Hospital, which is well known for pioneering techniques in osteogenesis, severe maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic surgery.
