One of the best avian vets I’ve ever met. One of my birds is quite difficult to manage. Dr. Julie Burge is always patient and understanding, ensuring my bird is not stressed any more than necessary in order to give top-quality care. I love that she doesn't sugarcoat things. She tells it like it is so I can in turn give the best care possible to my babies. Even though I’ve moved quite far away, I still turn to Dr. Burge when my feathered kids need care.

Burge Bird Rescue covers everything from simple nail and wing trims to complicated life-saving surgeries. Dr. Burge is renown in her field and affiliated with various Humane Societies and Rescue groups, lending her assistance and knowledge in rescuing, treating, and saving birds in the aftermath of natural disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes, as well as rescuing and treating birds that have been victims of horrible hoarding conditions. I wouldn't trust my birds' well-being to any one else but Burge Bird Rescue.

Julie is great with the birds. When ur bird is in her care u know its in good health. She is very compassionate and has a true natural love of birds. She is very knowledgeable of birds also age...etc she has takes wonderful care of all three of my cockatoos, and my mothers birds also. She is the only one I trust.
