On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Awesome service, food, and environment

I have to tell you that I am a business owner who does a lot of traveling and eat out quite a bit. After a while the food becomes pretty boring and not very innovative, but when I ate at the On the Border by the Rivertown Mall I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed with their menu. I love mexican food, and although I know that this is a corporate restaurant it is pretty authentic. I love there food, one item that I recently tried was the Carne Asada tacos, these were absolutely melt in your mouth good. The thing that I like most about this restaurant that you do not find many places around the world is not only was the food excellent the service was phenomenal. Last time I was in I was waited on by a server named Sue and I have never in my life been given such great service. I really thought I was special but then the amazing thing that I noticed is that all the servers treated their customers the way I was treated. The place was ran well and everyone worked together and seemed happy to be there. It is one thing to have great food but to have phenomenal service on top of that this place has the total package and has earned a guest for life. In all my travels I will be looking for On the Border and when I am home the Grandville On the Border is the pplace for me.
