Louie's Mobile Pet Grooming

Louie is a great dog groomer the people that wrote those bad reviews my dad never did there dog and he has been in buisness for 25 plus years and i bet no dog groomers have been in buisness that many years.

I've used Louie for four years now for my maltese mix, and he's always been on time, very polite, and kind to my dog. Plus he does a great job! I was surprised to read comments that it takes weeks to get in—Louie has always been able to get us in within days of calling. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I've used Louie a handful of times in the past. He was always early, which was annoying! The last time I needed him he was booked for several weeks, so I went somewhere else When I called a few months later to schedule something he told me he heard I went somewhere else last time and he didnt need my business and hung up the phone!! I read through these reviews before I called Louie, even though he's been here before, still called him. I was told he could make it over at 11. I went to the store at 930 and was gone for 15-20 minutes. I called Louie at moon asking where he was. He said already came and knocked but no one was home and with the price of gas could not come back. If your going to show up early then why don't you call first? I'M SUEE HE WAS NEVER EVEN HERE, GROW A SET AND TELL PEOPLE THE TRUTH. If you just dont want the jobs or money then don't advertise your business. Recommendations for ANYONE long lake grooming is awesome, you will have to drop off and pick up your pet but she is cheaper and does an excellent job her name is Leigha. I'D call here instead if I were tou. Unless you want to just waste your day waiting for someone that's never going to come.

Louie called me and I agreed to take down my negative review. Howevver, his reply is not true, he must be confusing me with someone else. I actually did use his grooming service two winters ago, and his service was excellent. The second time I called to use his services we had a misunderstanding.

Louie couldn't have been more accommodating! We lived farther out than he could come for a reasonable price, so he offered to meet me at an agreeable location closer to town. He was finished with our Golden Retriever in a very short time and she looked great. She seemed happy and was not at all traumatized by the experience. I will have Louie groom our dog again any day. Good value, friendly, good with the dog, and the dog looked fine and smelled great.

Louie has been helping us with our terriers for years.



Our first visit from Louie came when we could no longer bathe & groom our crippled, senior Airedale. NO ONE has more compassion for the senior pet!



He obviously loves his work and our dogs love him. We highly recommend him.

Very nice, straightforward with reasonable prices! I had a Rottweiler/ Shepard mix a few years ago and it was hell trying to clip his nails by myself, when I called and had Louie do it, he did it no problem. Roscoe didn't even growl at him.

I called Louie's mobile pet grooming on Thursday December 18, 2008, to come out to bathe and comb out my maine coon cat. My appointment was for Saturday, December 21 at between 10:00 and 10:30 am. When he didn't show up by 11:15 I called him and asked when he would be here. He replied that he was at my house at 9:00am and that no one answered the door. At 9:00am I was still in bed sleeping and had gotten up at 9:30am. He informed me that he was not coming back out. With the price of gas and the distance between us it was not worth his trouble to come back. I must add that the price of gas at the time was $1.65 a gallon and the distance between us is 12 miles. He then hung up on me. I called back to see if we could arrange another time or day but was unable to. He said he usually misses one appointment a year, and that this year, I was it. He told me not to call him anymore, and again hung up on me.

He made no attempt to call me to let me know that he had changed the appointment time. I was expecting him to be here as he promised between 10: and 10:30am. I don't know if he is a good groomer or not. I do know that he is rude, unreliable and totally lacks proper people skills. I would not reccommend this man.
