Rayco Painting

Add me to the five-star review-givers, and the list of satisfied customers. The guys at Rayco are excellent; they're fast, reasonably priced, and thorough.



Painting our living room and hallway was step one in our planned home renovation. When it became clear that neither my husband or I was up to the job, I sought professionals. I got them in Rayco Painting. Gabe was a friendly guy came out to give us an estimate; he arrived on time, and we went through a detailed checklist of what exactly would be needed.



I'd chosen a Glidden color (softest juniper!) for the living room; Three guys showed up that first paint day, and after a quick walk-through to confirm the specifics, they set to work.



Did I mention they were also courteous? They asked if I'd mind if they played their radio (heck no); they asked if they could use the sink to rinse paint brushes (heck yeah). Wow! The leader of the crew (George), was personable and was great about communicating with us throughout the job.



Did I mention that they went above and beyond? For instance, my husband had knocked down a little entryway wall in the living room, and had attempted to mud and sand it. It was a good effort, but the results weren't perfectly smooth. George asked if we wanted them to sand it down to make it straight (hell yeah!!).



At the job's end, George told me he'd gone ahead and repaired some slight water damage he'd discovered in one spot. They even added another coat of ceiling paint for no extra charge (the estimate had indicated one coat), feeling it was needed.



Ultimately, they finished the job early on the second day. They cleaned up after themselves and left. We've received compliments on the professional paint job (and you can't tell where the entryway wall used to be).



We're planning to do the bedrooms next and Rayco will be getting a call from me.
