Fiesta Paradise

If I could give less that 1 star I really would. I hired this company for my March 7th wedding and they got it all wrong. I'm a pretty laid back person and I even thought about letting this go and not posting a negative review, but then I thought about the next bride out there who might use them and I have to warn everyone how terrible this place is!! 1st let’s start with the people who brought the linens, they were 1 hour late, no biggie we had plenty of time to set up. We told them that the wedding would be ending at 8:30 pm and they could come then to start picking up their things. At 7:45 pm the company showed up with very inappropriately dressed teenagers and started tearing the linens off the tables that my guests were still sitting at, 45 minutes before my wedding was even supposed to end! And the cherry on top was when they started raiding the candy buffet! At that point everyone stared to leave because they thought it was over! Now let’s get to the catering part. The caterers showed up 2 hours late! Not only had I hired them for food service but they were also handling the bar. That means that no one got to eat or drink a single thing until 2 hours into the wedding! I was so embarrassed!! We actually opened the candy buffet so people could start picking at that because they were so hungry! So now we are two hours in with hot beer, soda, and wine they start setting up the food. We decided that because everyone was so hungry that we would go ahead and do it buffet style instead of having it served to speed up the process. (by the way our contract was for 3 servers and a bar tender and we only had 2 people show up) The food was okay except I was supposed to get fried plantains and instead they ripped open a bag of plantain chips and were throwing a handful on everyone’s plate (I’m embarrassed) to top it off the veggies were FROZEN, not a little chilly, but total frozen! (I’m Mortified). They didn’t know to turn on the sturno cans to warm the food, and may I add that the venue we were in had a fully equipped kitchen where they could have thrown the veggies in the oven to heat them up! Now let’s get to the wedding cake… oh how this part makes me so sad. All I wanted was a simple vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting, that’s all, nothing fancy, what I got was a cake with meringue frosting (which I hate) and custard filling (which I strongly dislike). I didn’t have a piece of my own wedding cake I hated it so much, and forget about saving the top for our 1 year anniversary, I hated my cake so much that I’m missing out on that tradition! At the end of the night they took their stuff and just left the venue a total wreck (clean-up was also part of the contract) my husband, bridal party and I were stuck cleaning up after the wedding which was a real downer and because of this we were hours late getting home to pack for our honeymoon (we were leaving the next morning!). I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and hopefully this review will help you realize that sometimes it’s better to pay a little more and actually get something good, I wish I would have done that. If I could do it over again I would never have hired fiesta paradise! Learn from my misfortune and stay away from this company!
