Evergreen Junior High School enrolls more than 1,100 students in grades seven through nine and its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, social studies, science, math and foreign languages. It provides health and physical education, personal development, music, drama and art classes. The school offers a wide variety sports activities, including football, soccer, tennis, softball, basketball and cheerleading. Its facility comprises a library, media center, cafeteria, computer laboratory and various clubs, such as band and choir. The school provides guidance and counseling services that assists students in anger management, grief and loss, academic reasons, personal reasons, stress and family problems.
