Lucky Cafe Chinese Restaurant

I tried this restaurant through door dash, when the order arrived in a paper bag placed in a plastic one they had set the sweet and sour sauce on top, it had spilled all over the order it was leaking into the plastic bag all over my counter a complete mess and part of the order was missing. They would not reimburse me.

I HAD A CHICKEN TOE IN MY FOOD!!! (see photo in gallery above or copy and paste the link)

Need I say more? My family and I ordered General Tso's, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoons. I was halfway through my plate of dinner when I nearly choked to death! To my surprise it was a CHICKEN TOE BONE with toenail still intact (see photo). Thankfully I was the one to come across it rather than my 4 or 6 year old daughters! They would've for sure choked to death! I brought the remainder of the food back alond with the toe for a refund and the lady was very rude and only refunded my $13 when I paid $23.86! She said because we ate the egg rolls and crab rangoons! I told her good customer service would be to issue a FULL refund, she got a nasty attitude and refused. I said that's okay I'll just be sure to tell everyone about your restaurant. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

My family and I eat there often. The food and service are GREAT! The waitresses are attentive or if you want to say this, they work hard for their tips. Which is fine with me. Portions are huge, no more expensive than most places for a family of four. The gravy is the best! However there is one small complaint, napkins, don't like linen napkins and no matter how many people are seated at my table, if i asked for paper napkins, i only get 3! Geez, LET THE NAPKINS GO! Then you will get that 5th star!

I have been going here for close to 15 years and this is by far the best Chinese food restaurant that I have ever been to. There is no other egg roll that I have had that compares. The sweet and sour chicken is amazing. The food is always ready in 15 minutes and piping hot. I love you this place and will continue for many years, they could not disappoint me!

My Wife and I ordered delivery tonight from the "Lucky Cafe'" for the first time since recently moving to Jackson. This was honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever had.



Delivery time was around an hour, which was fine. Portions were bigger than we expected and the price was fine (under $20.00 for two , excluding tip). At first glance we were quite pleased- Then we tasted the food.



Seriously, this was bad. I have eaten Chinese food all over the Country and had never seen General Tso's Chicken prepared like it was- And by God the good General Tso is turning over in his grave right now. I cannot begin to express the awful truth regarding this food.



My wife ordered Broccoli Beef which was even more foul than my "General Tso's" Chicken... Not only was our food horrible, it was certainly not fresh and had been Microwaved to a gelatinous consistency (seriously) and was barley luke warm.



We honestly had a really good laugh over how terrible this food was so even though we threw it away and ended up cooking- All was not lost.



I never write reviews for anywhere but this place deserves one. Proceed with caution.
