- Dr Jungmeyer is originally from Eldon, Missouri near Lake of the Ozarks. During high school she worked for the family business, Jungmeyer Heating and Air Conditioning. Dr Jungmeyer learned the value of treating people right and that return business is what keeps things going. From her father she learned sheet metal work, welding, woodworking as well as balancing a checkbook and managing the financial issues with running a business. Dr Jungmeyer left Eldon to attend Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. In l992 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr Jungmeyer was recognized for outstanding achievement on National Boards and was in the Honor’s Program during Dental School. Dr Jungmeyer’s personal favorite achievement was being an elected class officer for three years during dental school. Before opening her practice in Lee’s Summit in l996, Dr Jungmeyer worked in a group practice. She gained clinical experience from Dr Dale Ewing and Dr Merle Nunemaker. Dr Ewing had been a practicing dentist for 50 years. There is much to be learned from that kind of experience. Dr Nunemaker is still practicing in South Kansas City and is very active in the Missouri Dental Association and the American Dental Association. The variety of clinical philosophy and second to none ethics was the best possible experience as a new graduate. Dr Jungmeyer is married and has three children. She has been a resident of Lee’s Summit since l996. Her hobbies include traveling, scuba diving, flying airplanes, snow skiing and keeping up with her kids. Her practice and family keep her very busy. She has found the best way to do business is to treat patients and employees like family. Her amazing staff keeps things running smoothly as possible. Dr Jungmeyer would like to thank her patients for their patience during the multiple maternity leaves since 2007. There have been five born to the office staff and two have been to Dr Jungmeyer.

After a very successful tooth repair for my son, I forced myself to make an appointment after an embarrassing eight year absence from dental care. Dr. Jungmeyer NEVER judged me, just got me back on track. Yesterday was my sixth month check-up, and it went as smoothly as all my past appointments. The entire office is top notch!

I have been going to Dr. Jungmeyer for years and would consider going elsewhere. Her dental practice is up to date, she has excellent skills and surrounds herself wiht an excellent support staff. I can say this because she has done extensive work on my teeth. Everything from cleaning and simple filings to root canals and crowns. I highly recommend Dr. Jungmeyer.
My previous dentist had convinced me that I needed a $900 (my portion outside of insurance) crown replacement. After an exam with Dr. Jungmeyer, she told me that my current crown was stable, still sealed, and that replacement at this time was premature. What a breath of fresh air to have someone UNDER sell me a service rather than finding a way to take my money. I was totally taken back and pleased by this honest and straightforward approach. Much appreciated. If every visit from here on out is good, I'll be a patient here for a long time.
