MedVet Clinic is a 25,000 square foot veterinary hospital located in the greater Cincinnati area. Acertus Consulting Group was hired by the developer, MDG Development, as the prime consultant and Owner’s representative. Pre-construction services included retaining all prime consultants for the design of the facility and working with city officials to obtain all approvals from planning, zoning and building. Acertus Consulting Group work with the selected general contractor retained by MDG to review all subcontractor bids and value engineer the project following bid receipt. This project was the first MedVet facility so the design of the facility was developed from scratch working with the MedVet team to fully understand their operational requirements as well as their design needs. During construction Acertus Consulting Group was retained to act as the Owner’s Representative to monitor construction through periodic site visits and reviewing all contractor pay applications and change orders. Acertus Consulting Group managed the overall project budget and schedule as the Owner’s Representative.
