Brighton Animal Clinic

Dr. Montgomery and the staff are great! I highly recommend them. Very knowledgeable and caring. We have been with them for five years and have always been very pleased.

I went to Brighton after having to go to AA Animal clinic in Lexington when we found out my one year old cat had a blocked urethra. We had just moved and had not found a new vet close by. We were told by AA to take our cat to our normal vet and have them remove the catheter that they had to put in him. Brighton was the closet vet to our new home, so we tried it. Well, Dr. Jenkins was rude from the beginning. First, we weren't allowed to even see the Doctor when we dropped our cat off, that was because there was no doctor in when there should have been. Then, Dr. Jenkins calls me to tell me that the catheter is stuck inside my cat and there is nothing she can do. First of all, I've had a very long night at the emergency vet clinic and a little sympathy would be nice. Second, she doesn't offer anything to do or tell me anything else about the situation. So after her rude phone conversation I go to pick up my cat in tears worried about him trying to figure out what to do. She proceeds to try and charge me for the procedure she couldn't even complete and tells me she's not at fault in the least. Not the right thing to tell your patient. Needless to say, AA had one of their on call doctors come in and perform the surgery and even had Dr. Pingston from Lansdowne standing by if need be. We now go to Lansdowne Animal Clinic where the doctors are wonderful and friendly!! Never had any trouble with them!!



BRIGHTON was a HORRIBLE experience with RUDE doctors. NEVER go there!!
