Dr. Sheila Palmer was born and raised in Mobile, AL and attended the University of South Alabama before transferring to Auburn University to complete her undergraduate studies. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and returned to Mobile to begin practicing at a busy small animal clinic providing both wellness and emergency care. After 6 years, she began working part time for Moffett Road Veterinary Clinic and several other Mobile, AL practices providing relief veterinary care before partnering with Moffett Road Veterinary Clinic in 2009. In 2010 she opened Westside Veterinary Hospital as a satellite clinic of Moffett Road Veterinary Clinic, PC. in the Cottage Hill and Dawes Road area. This location quickly outgrew its small temporary space and in 2015 Westside Veterinary Hospital was moved to its permanent location at 2341 Dawes Road.
