Salon Che

I loved my experience at Salon Che. Tessa did a wonderful job on my long curly hair. The color and cut were amazing. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The prices are a great value. I am very picky about who does my hair and I would recommend Tessa to all my friends and family. You definitely need to check out Salon Che.

If you are looking for your hair stylist to "be creative", even after you've given specific instructions and have chosen your hair color, then this is the place for you. Personally, I will never recommend this place to anyone. I had asked for one color and ended up with something completely different. Lee was surprised that I was NOT ecstatic about it - said he felt like being creative and that people would love this color. I spent over 4 hours in the salon trying to correct it (to no avail - I don't think he wanted me to change it), but I was fortunate enough to listen to hours of his personal conversations. Oh, and I was charged full price even though I had clearly expressed my dissatisfaction.

I have really curly hair and not many people know what to do with it but Elizabeth really knew what she was doing and was very knowledgeable with the hair products that would be best for my hair. I would recommend Salon Che to anyone its worth it. Kudos I believe I found the hair salon im going to for now on.

I really like the quality of Lee's work. He seems to be very passionate about his business. My only complaint would be that he constantly is having loud personal conversations with others on the phone or with his kids who are sitting in the salon to the point that it can be very distracting for me.

My husband purchased a gift certificate for my birthday to Salon Che located downtown Nampa Idaho. I received the worst hair cut EVER.. When I walked into the salon, Lee who is the owner of the salon was the one that cut my hair. During the hair appt he answered his phone several times and was looking through a book to make sure he knew what he was doing. Let me remind you that per his website he has 25 years experience. REALLY!! I don't believe that someone with 25 years experience has to look through a book to make sure they are doing the right cut. He even had a wig sitting right on the shelf that he could have looked at, it was right in front of his face. I could go on and on about why I will never return to that salon nor will I ever refer anyone there again. I wanted to also have a massage that day for my birthday which I never received because needless to say I found out later that day that he is the only one running the show. These guys do great work and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for any sort of spa/salon treatments. I am pretty picky about who I let cut my hair but Lee knows exactly what he is doing and the service goes far above and beyond what any other salon does. A no brainer if you live in Nampa and absolutely worth the drive from Boise. Thanks!
