Reliable Choice Landscape

Reliable Choice Catering arrived 3 hours late to cater our wedding reception. The food was cold and not as promised. They're refusing to communicate. We were very disappointed and unsatisfied with the service that Reliable Choice Catering attempted to provide for our wedding receiption on 10-11-2009. They arrived 3 hours late causing extreme stress for everyone involved. Upon arrival the owner lied to our wedding planner and said he planned on being there at that time. No apologies or congratulations were said. Infact the owner never spoke to either the bride or groom. Nothing went according to any of the conversations, emails(copies availiable), or contracts that we had. In all of our conversations(several witnesses) and e-mails they stated that they would be at the reception site between 12:30 and 1pm. They didn't show up until 4:30!? After the ceremony had already started. There were numerous phone calls made to the business and cell phone after they were supposed to be there, none of which were answered or returned! Our parents were already calling around to restaurants trying to get food or pizza for the reception since they were not there. The food was supposed to be hot and placed in chaffing dishes to keep it hot for our guests to enjoy. This did not happen. All of the food was cold!! There was no lemonade. Our guests had to wait for the hot water urn to heat up the water. The baked beans we sampled were not the beans provided at the reception. All of the food was supposed to be labled, it was not. They were supposed to provide fall decorations for all the serving tables, along with the S'more table, they did not. Trash cans were not provided as agreed. The veggie skewers were not fully cooked. They were basically raw. They packed up and took the food and left almost immediately. The food was supposed to be there for our guests to enjoy throughout the reception. Because of the attitude from their end our guests felt uncomfortable and were asking us what was wrong with the caterer. One guest overheard conversation between two workers that they had booked another job that morning, explaining why they were late and the food was raw and cold. If you are going to book 2 gigs on one day you should make sure that you can handle it. Since the wedding we have made several unsuccessful attempts including a certified letter to communicate with Reliable Choice Catering. We realize this is an unfortunate situation, but to ignore someone you did business with is unacceptable!

We used Reliable Choice Catering for a company picnic. It was impressive to see a high level of professionalism combined with a personal approach. The food was wonderful. Gregg & his staff were so helpful! We will definetly use Reliable Choice again!
