Upon arriving for my 6 month alignment service and lifetime alignment service at Ramona Tires in Ontario, I was told that my tie rods had become loose. At this point I was offered a "deal" for replacement tie rods at $89.00 each (x2). As a reasonable consumer, I felt it necessary to get a second opinion on general pricing for tie rods. Visited an independent, certified mechanic who informed me that nothing had been wrong with my vehicle's tie rods and even confirmed it by doing a test drive with me. Just to be even safer, I visited a Firestone Complete Auto Care to transfer my lifetime alignment services there. Upon completion of the alignment, I was informed that the tie rods were just fine and that the alignment itself was not even necessary at this time - being just slightly off in 2/10 check areas. By the way, I was ridiculously overcharged $9.99 per tire for a balance at this Ramona Tires. Was offered lifetime balances at Firestone Complete Auto for $40.00.
