NOT THE DEAL IT APPEARS TO BE. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. NOT TELLING THE ENTIRE TRUTH. WOULD THAT BE CONSIDERED A LIE? I THINK SO... In 2009 we went to buy an engagement ring. Helzberg promised to upgrade it to a larger diamond for the full dollar amount we paid in the store at the time - $3200.00. In 2011 they told me the other 1/2 they forgot to tell me 2 yrs prior - YOU CAN ONLY UPGRADE/EXCHANGE YOUR RING IF YOU BUY SOMETHING DOUBLE IN ITS VALUE. Just a small $3200.00 piece of information they forgot to tell me when I was busy handing them $3200.00. They stuck me good, got their cash & I don't get an upgrade unless I fork up $3200.00. OH - THEY ALSO LOST MY COMPUTER/PAYMENT INFORMATION WHEN THEY PROMISED IT WOULD BE THERE. It's only $3200.00, right? Well, their records NOW indicate we only paid $1900.00 for the diamond ring originally. Funniest part is - $1900.00 was the sale price for the ring - a few months after we bought it. We didn't complain though. They periodically, "Purge their computers." Isn't that convenient - FOR THEM?
