Marillac does not deliver.



Our child has many food allergies and we expressly stated that he was gluten and dairy free and provided a complete list of his food allergies. They promised that they would prepare meals specifically for him. To ensure that his needs were met, we took a week's worth of food in.



For dinner on the first night, while we were there, they brought him a cheeseburger while we were there. The reason he was given meals from their regular menu, they said, was so that he wouldn't feel left out.



We told them we'd brought food in to make sure his he was not given anything that he was allergic to and told the nurse that if he was given food like bread and cheese it would cause digestive issues, which affected his behavior. This is well document by his school. They gave it no merit. In fact, one of the nurses (after only 24 hours in the facility) said that we should tell his allergist (who we've used for more than four years) to add foods back into his diet, so it more convenient.



After four days, most of the food that we took in was returned untouched and they could not tell us what he'd been eating. I expressed my concern and asked for a journal of his meals, which they would not provide.



The one medication change that they made caused him to have problems with his liver function. They discharged him after four days after doing NOTHING for my child, then sent us a bill for $2,100.
