Pinecrest Animal Hospital

I have taken several of my cats and dog here on plenty of occasions. Staff is always wonderful. Multiple times I have called with problems and they without hesitation tell me to bring them in that day no matter how booked they are. Once they had to put down one of my cats, they were so sympathetic. Gave me the option to be with her or not, if I wanted to take her back home. Then afterwards they sent me in the mail a nice card, poem, and a little piece of cardstock with my cats name and paw print on it. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with all of them and will not take my animals to anyone else!

Outstanding staff with excellent ethics for the pet world, who reach above and beyond any expectations for all of our furbabies. My heart felt love and thanks go out to all of the staff and doctors at Pinecrest. Hands down best Veterinary clinic in Michigan.

It was such a great experience. The facility is very nice and the staff are friendly! Hunter my pomeranian and I would give it 5 stars!

I'd like to write a story about this vet for every single person that goes here. Maybe this will help you reconsider taking your beloved pets to this sad excuse for an animal hospital. My parents' beloved Golden Retriever was brought in a few days ago because he hasn't been feeling well - throwing up, lethargic, etc.. My parents, being the avid dog lovers that they are, will stop at nothing to ensure their pets' health. The dog was brought in and basically pushed aside from the start. My parents were told it was a stomach bug, and were sent home. Sadly, the dog still was not showing signs of improvement. The dog was brought in again, given blood work (supposedly, who knows at this point), x-rays and everything. Again, they were told the dog was fine. No abnormalities. Finally, as a last attempt to find out what was wrong with the dog, he was brought in, put on fluids, and my parents were told that they would hear back after the vets lunch break. Real professional, if you ask me. Well, around 2pm, my parents very much loved dog, was beyond help and needed to be put down. Turns out, he had a tumor on his heart and had developed cancer. Now, my question is, how in the hell does a dog go from having a "stomach bug" to being dead all within the span of 48 hours? It is clear to me that none of the so called "doctors" here took the situation seriously and missed the vital signs of the disease. Doesn't that type of thing show up on a blood test?! And if not a blood test, but an x-ray?! Now, my family is broken because of your negligence. So, thanks Pinecrest and Dr. Rangi, for doing nothing and causing my family so much heartbreak. I sincerely hope that anyone reading this will please, PLEASE take your animals somewhere else to get proper care. Don't believe them if they tell you nothing is wrong. A second opinion could save your pets life.

This is the best vet in Owosso. The doctor is knowledgeable and gentle with our animals. He explains the symptoms, and a course of care that is easily understood. The staff are always happy to see us and our pets, and take very good care of them.
